T he Florist Suite, situated on the ground floor of the historic Mary Porter House, is named in honor of Manchester's Village Florist who operated his fine establishment out of these quarters in years gone by. Traditional New England six-over-six windows accompany a working antique dutch door that looks out toward the historic village green-a private porch is outfitted with rocking chairs for relaxing on a summer day. The suite features a king bed in the sleeping area and a sitting room with comfy loveseat, antique writing desk and warming fireplace. The entire suite is prettily decorated; hand-stenciled roses add whimsy to the walls and delicate, embroidered pillows are strewn about on benches and chairs. The sunny Florist Suite also features a private bath with a whirlpool tub.
